Mission
In collaboration and solidarity with all stakeholders, our mission is to provide a student-centered education at universal standards, cultivating individuals who possess 21st-century skills, can pursue their profession anywhere in the world, have leadership qualities, embrace sustainable development goals, uphold Atatürk’s principles and are guided by reason and science, continuously strive for improvement, are deeply rooted in maritime culture and have strong ethical values. Our mission also includes producing knowledge, transforming it into practical solutions, and disseminating it through research and projects to advance the maritime sector and engaging in community service activities that contribute to the goal of a “Maritime Nation, Maritime Country,” while proudly representing Piri Reis University.
